H5P: A MUST KNOW FOR ELEARNERS
Today we have a special guest in terms of eLearning: H5P. What is H5P- and even before that what means H5P? H5P is the abbreviation of Html-5-Package, it is a plugin tool that helps produce and run interactive content and interactive video within your LMS, or other kinds of eLearning browser. This plugin is used more than 17.000 websites, and its idea behind it is rather very simple: Learn and share- but of course in html-5 format. According to its website here are the goals of this project:
- Attract a large worldwide community of skilled people who create, use and share H5P-libraries with each other,
- Facilitate worldwide sharing of a large variety of HTML-based content and technologies,
- Make it easy for content creators to deliver and publish HTML content on different CMS, LMS, LCMS and other frameworks,
- Contribute to better HTML5 content by making it even easier to cooperate and reuse great web technology.
WHAT ARE SOME THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO IN H5P?
Writing what this website is capable of would take alot of my time so instead of writing them I'll just insert a part of a tutorial video which showcases all of the stuff you can do plus how you can do.

Since we have introduced H5P and gave a brief information on it, let us see what are some of the advantages it can provides us, the eLearners:
- Easy to use: H5P is a user-friendly tool that doesn't require any technical skills to use. Anyone can create interactive content with H5P without knowing how to code
- Interactivity: H5P allows users to create interactive content such as quizzes, interactive videos, drag and drop activities, and more. This can increase engagement and help learners retain information better.
- Cost-effective: H5P is a free and open-source tool, which means that users don't need to pay for a license or subscription to use it. This makes it an affordable option for small businesses, educators, and independent creators.
- Compatibility: H5P is compatible with most e-learning platforms, including Moodle, WordPress, and Drupal. This means that users can easily integrate H5P content into their existing e-learning courses.
